Emily Bodden. Contemporary Art and Visual History

Emily Bodden is an Artist born and raised in coastal South Wales. Emily has a BAhons in Art History and Visual Cultures which she uses to inspire her fine art as well as unique visual history resources for museums and education. Emily has an interest in Victorian culture and contempory gothic styles as well as exploring themes of nature enchantment and disconnection.

Working in a variety of medium, Emily originally trained in sculpture with preference to found materials, now as a busy mother of two she is focusing on smaller scale paintings, in mediums such as watercolour, gouache and acrylic, that are quick to work.
